PUBLICATIONS
Children's Human Rights Centre of Albania has a special programme
for the Information and Education of children rights. Part of our
publications are directed for the experts of the Albanian government
at local and national level, NGO members, Universities, Courts,
Police etc. Other publications of CRCA are prepared by children
and for children, especially posters, leaflets etc. Since 1999 a
staff of experts of the Information and Research Centre prepares
all the publications of CRCA for Children's
Rights in Albania (IRCCRA). CRCA also
prepares and publishes / issues three newsletters and gazettes in
partnership with other partners. Below you will find a detailed
list of all CRCA publications.
BOOKS
- "Review No. 1 - No. 7 for Children
and Youth Rights in Albania", contains studies,
statements and articles that deal with children rights in Albania.
Part of this quarterly publication is also the international legislation
related to child rights and a database of child-oriented NGO's working
in Albania.
- "Victims of truancy"
- A research on reasons and consequences of child drop outs from
schools in Albania.
- Manual of the Police for the Protection
of Children Rights, is a manual that has been used by
CRCA for its training of the police officers in Albania. This manual
contains also the relevant international legislation and UN rules
for the administration of juvenile justice.
- "Have Children's Rights Failed
in Albania" - is a publication that holds the speeches
and materials presented in the national conference on the occasion
of 10th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child
of UN.
NEWSLETTERS
AND E-PUBLICATIONS
- E-newsletter "Help
the Children", is a weekly newsletter, being published
since 1999 in English language and includes documents, news and
articles on child rights situation in Albania and South Eastern
Europe. Since 2002 the E-newsletter is supported by The Olof Palme
International Center.
- Gazette "News from Children's Clubs"
- is a special publication of CRCA where most of the news and activities
related to the situation of child labourers in Albania are found,
and many other activities of Children's Clubs against Child Labour.
- E-newsletter "Mass media and Children"
is an e-publication of CRCA and the Network of Albanian Journalists
for Children's Rights. In this e-newsletter are included articles
published in the daily Albanian newspapers related to children.
TRAINING
MANUALS
- Training Manual "Children and CRC",
prepared by CRCA Training Team is a necessary tool for all trainers
and NGO's that organize training for the UN Convention on the Rights
of the Child, while was financially supported by the Soros Foundation
in Tirana.
- Training Manual "Child Labour and
its Worst Forms" - prepared by experts of CRCA in
cooperation with ILO-IPEC in Albania. This manual is a necessary
tool for all the trainers and NGO's that work directly for the rehabilitation
and re-integration of child labourers, street children and worst
forms of child labour.
- Manual of Facilitators of Children's
Clubs - is a guide prepared especially for teachers and
social workers that work with street children, children in difficult
circumstances and child labourers. This Manual is prepared by well-known
Albanian experts and provides guidelines and activities for the
organisation of non-formal education lessons, and leisure activities.
- Manual of the Police for the Protection
of Children Rights, is a manual that has been used by
CRCA for its training of the police officers in Albania. This manual
contains also the relevant international legislation and UN rules
for the administration of juvenile justice.
POSTERS
AND LEAFLETS
- "STOP WORST FORMS OF CHILD LABOUR"
(Black and white), is prepared in partnership with Global March
Against Child Labour and has been widely used in all campaigns that
CRCA has carried out in Albania for the elimination of worst forms
of child labour.
- "STOP CHILD LABOUR IN ALBANIA"
(Coloured), has been prepared in partnership with IPEC-ILO
and is a complete awareness kit (poster, leaflet and TV add) kit
for the sensitization of public opinion, government, NGO's and child
labourers on the consequences of child labour and measures to be
taken for the prevention and elimination of child labour in Albania.
